Mars 115 Repeating Air Rifle Germany 1930s

Historical air rifle. Produced by Venus Waffenverk Zella Mehlis, Germany, in the 1930s. Used by the Hitler Youth, among others, before and during WWII with the intent of later operating the K98 Mauser carbine, of which it is a faithful replica. The story behind this specific piece is that it arrived in the country, specifically Hanstholm, with a platoon of the Hitler Youth that was to be transferred to the Wehrmacht. This air rifle is in good condition. The spring mechanism still works but is very tight. It likely needs a new seal, as it cannot fire a pellet. Comes without a strap but includes the cleaning rod as shown in the pictures. The caliber is 4.5 mm, so no firearms permit is required. However, you must be 18 years of age or older to own this historical item. The story behind this is that it came to the country Denmark, most definitely Hanstholm together with a platoon of HJ that was to transfer to Wehrmacht. This air rifle is in a good condition. The spring mechanism still works, but is very tight. It probably needs a new gasket, as it cannot fire a shot. Without a strap but with a cleaning stick as the pictures show. The caliber is 4,5 mm. so a weapons permit is not required. However you must be 18 years of age to own this historical item.
