While the Bauhaus school was based in Germany, its influence and reach extended to Czechoslovakia, with Czech and Slovak artists and architects engaging with Bauhaus ideas and aesthetics. Czech students attended the Bauhaus, and Czech publications also promoted and disseminated Bauhaus principles.
