Collection: Deutsche Reich-WHW Winterhilfswerk and other Badges/Medals

Badges, booklets and other items were sold in Germany on the streets and in places, primarily by the Hitler Youth to collect money for citizens in need. Each region was allowed to produce 12 different items. It is believed that a total of about 1200 different items were manufactured in bakelite, metal, fabric, glass, etc.

The little string that often comes with it was so you could decorate your Christmas tree with the purchased items.
